Huge thanks to Reel Guppy Outdoors for making it an unforgettable experience!
A BIG thanks to EMTs Kevin Gamboa and Andrew Faalevao from AMR Ventura County for teaching our Littles how to do basic CPR.
The paramedics began by talking about their job and how important it is to learn CPR because even just knowing a little bit can help save a life. The youth took turns practicing compressions and even competed for who could do it the longest - there was a tie.
The kids asked lots of engaging questions and were so interested to learn about lifesaving interventions. At the end, a few youth got to check out their heart rate while hooked up to the defibrillator.
