Become A Big

Become A Big

Becoming a Volunteer Mentor is as easy as 1-2-3

1. Fill out an Application

You'll provide detailed info so we can get to know you and start our background check process!

The application takes approximately 1 hour to complete: be ready to upload your driver's license, a recent photo, and a few references!

2. Enrollment & Training

When we receive your application, BBSVC staff will set up a time to:

1. Complete an interview with one of our case managers

2. Run your LiveScan* here at our office.

3. Participate in a required Youth Safety Training with other Bigs.

3. Meet Your Little

Once you complete training, we will introduce you to your Little!

- Meet up with your Little [2-4] times a month for a few hours.

- Check in regularly with your case manager (they'll call you, but you can also always reach out any time!).

Our Bigs don't change who they are...they share who they are! Thank YOU for empowering potential!
