In Ventura County, 3 out of 4 children report experiencing trauma, crisis, or adversity by the third grade. When we match youth with a mentor, we have the opportunity to break negative cycles and introduce positive experiences that change the trajectories of their futures.

Every donation fuels our forward momentum. It helps recruit volunteers, cover screening costs, and provides monthly professional case management for every participating individual in our programs.

By investing in BBSVC today, you’re not only supporting youth through mentorship, you’re providing access to educational and career pathways, opportunities to develop emotional intelligence, and helping them build social capital necessary to achieve HEALTHY independence as young adults.
