Step Into Leadership: Become a BBSVC BIG Ambassador
Our BIG Ambassador Program invites passionate, community-minded individuals—including Bigs, Littles, Parent/Guardians, volunteers, and staff—to take an active role in amplifying the mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ventura County (BBSVC). BIG Ambassadors serve as enthusiastic advocates for our organization, helping to broaden our reach, share our message, and spark interest in youth mentoring within their networks and communities.
As a BBSVC BIG Ambassador, you’ll help us:
Be a Voice: Share our mission online and in-person to spark curiosity and action.Engage Others: Invite your network to get involved—whether by mentoring, donating, or volunteering
Help Us Shine: Support us at key events and lend your skills in planning, hosting, or outreach.
Collaborate Creatively: Bring your ideas and energy to the table to help us grow in fresh, meaningful ways.
What you’ll gain:
Creating Change: Be a catalyst for meaningful, long-lasting change in the lives of local youth.
Building Skills: Strengthen leadership abilities while gaining experience in advocacy, organizing, and outreach.
Growing Community: Meet others who share your passion for service and expand your personal and professional network.
Earning Recognition: Your efforts will be celebrated through shoutouts at events, in newsletters, and on social media.
We ask that our BIG Ambassadors commit to:
Commit Time: Dedicate approximately 6–8 hours per month to ambassador activities, including participation in monthly meetings.
Show Up: Attend at least 4 key events per year to represent BBSVC and support our initiatives.
Be Visible: Actively promote BBSVC content and campaigns across your social media platforms at least 6 times monthly.
