Did you know many companies offer a matching gift program to encourage philanthropy among their employees?

Employee matching gift programs are corporate giving programs in which your company matches donations made by employees to eligible nonprofit organizations like ours. It’s an easy way to double your contribution to BBSVC! Contributions of any amount help us serve at-risk youth in Ventura County by matching them in one-to-one mentoring relationships, and providing individualized resources for their positive growth.

Just by connecting with your employer’s Human Resources office, you may be able to double – or even triple – the impact of your gift! Thanks for checking to see if your company offers these programs!

How do I request a matching gift?
Requesting a matching gift is normally a five minute process which must be initiated by the donor. You can do this by filling out and submitting a paper match form provided by your employer or through an electronic submission process.

Step 1

Check our list to see if your employer matches charitable gifts made by their employees, or ask your HR manager.

Step 2

Fill out a matching gifts form that your Human Resources department can provide to you.

Step 3

Follow your employer’s instructions to submit the completed form.  Feel free to contact BBSVC if you need additional information!
